Hi Members and guests of HDI Ottawa Chapter,
November, 2009 - HDI has just released a new Focus Book entitled “Good Practices for Virtual Employee Programs”. This is fitting as our Ottawa Chapter meeting on November 25 is all about “Agent at Home”. A few of the recommended good practices in this edition are:
- Conduct a feasibility study to determine the viability of implementing a virtual employee program.
- Evaluate the employee’s home office for safety, security, and health.
- Treat the implementation of the virtual employee program as a formal project.
- Write a virtual employee guide for employees and managers.
And there are 6 more good practices in the Focus Book this month.
It’s worth a read if you are seriously looking at the “Virtual
Agent” for your business.
Please register
for this look into the world of the “Agent at Home”.
